At UT Southwestern, Juan worked across multiple cardiovascular and anesthesiology studies, including time in the operating room, and built tools to improve how those studies collected their data. Spending that long around careful measurement is what made the gap obvious: nobody was measuring the body's largest, most information-rich surface. He shipped a working prototype in 72 hours, alone. Astherion is the platform he's building around that proof.

Completed the Inside LVMH certification in creation, branding and client experience, and is on a gap year from architecture and design school to build this. Leads garment architecture, sensor placement, and brand identity. The garment is the instrument, and the instrument has to be worth wearing.
